A well-known Victorian cemetery, firstly inaugurated in 1931. About 50 thousand people buried here, but only approximately 3,500 got a tombstone, which tells the story of the buried man or woman. The high location of the Necropolis allows for an excellent view of the Glasgow Cathedral.
